{"id":21727,"date":"2023-04-14T10:25:06","date_gmt":"2023-04-14T13:25:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/alprestamo.com\/blog\/?p=21727"},"modified":"2023-04-14T10:25:06","modified_gmt":"2023-04-14T13:25:06","slug":"es-medellin-el-nuevo-hub-del-ecosistema-emprendedor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alprestamo.com\/blog\/es-medellin-el-nuevo-hub-del-ecosistema-emprendedor\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00bfEs Medell\u00edn el nuevo hub del ecosistema emprendedor?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Con el apoyo del Instituto de Tecnolog\u00eda de Georgia (Georgia Tech), y <strong>con el prop\u00f3sito de innovar y apostarle al ecosistema emprendedor del pa\u00eds<\/strong>, empresarios y acad\u00e9micos presentaron el <strong>Centro de Innovaci\u00f3n y Emprendimiento de Medell\u00edn<\/strong>, el primero que inaugura el instituto en Sudam\u00e9rica; y el cual <strong>se suma a otros cuatro ubicados en Francia, Singapur, Panam\u00e1 y China<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El proyecto cont\u00f3 con una<strong> inversi\u00f3n privada de US$5,2 millones<\/strong>, provenientes de empresas locales y fondos aportados por donantes de Georgia Tech. Otro mill\u00f3n de d\u00f3lares fue aportado por otras asociaciones y universidades, tambi\u00e9n de Medell\u00edn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLa visi\u00f3n del centro ser\u00e1 construir una colaboraci\u00f3n multilateral s\u00f3lida y duradera entre sectores, incluidas organizaciones sin fines de lucro, universidades, nuevas empresas y corporaciones, con el fin de generar una mayor conciencia de los emprendedores como parte integral de la econom\u00eda de Medell\u00edn\u201d, expres\u00f3 Viviana Montenegro, de la Facultad de Investigaci\u00f3n, EI2 Global, de Georgia Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre las empresas e instituciones involucradas en el proyecto se encuentran <strong>Bancolombia, Celsia, Crystal, Sura, TCC, Globant, Iluma, Conconcreto, Universidad EIA, Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, Universidad Eafit, Microsoft, entre otras<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As\u00ed, si bien uno de los objetivos del nuevo centro es impulsar <a href=\"https:\/\/alprestamo.com\/blog\/mx\/fintech-mx\/glosario-emprendedor-de-startups-a-gacelas-y-unicornios\/\">emprendimientos y startups<\/a>, tambi\u00e9n pretende<strong> formar talento \u201cde exportaci\u00f3n\u201d, una pr\u00e1ctica que se ve mucho en pa\u00edses latinoamericanos que son contratados por empresas para trabajar en el extranjero.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Medell\u00edn como incubadora de talento<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<strong>Medell\u00edn tiene una cultura de emprendimiento por encima del est\u00e1ndar de Colombia<\/strong>, lo que lo hace un <em>hub <\/em>en talento. Adem\u00e1s, el medellinense es un referente de generaci\u00f3n de empleo. Iniciativas como esta, donde se conecta la academia con el sector empresarial, permiten que todas esas ideas que muchas veces ignoramos o no escuchamos tengan un soporte, algo que las respalde\u201d, manifest\u00f3 Juan Carlos Uribe, country manager de Microsoft Colombia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Medell\u00edn es una ciudad que presenta el <strong>potencial para servir como incubadora de experiencia empresarial<\/strong>. La capital de Antioqu\u00eda es un <strong>punto de atracci\u00f3n para estos proyectos por su capacidad de innovaci\u00f3n<\/strong>; y el desarrollo del proyecto resulta una gran oportunidad para atraer y aprovechar el conocimiento y experiencia de Georgia Tech, un referente mundial en formaci\u00f3n e investigaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfico-tecnol\u00f3gica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEsto servir\u00e1 para que las universidades tengan m\u00e1s patentes de investigaciones, se aterricen y aceleren m\u00e1s startups de la regi\u00f3n, y se perfeccione el sector, con miras a no repetir lo que ya se hizo ni cometer los mismos errores. Y si en alg\u00fan punto, dentro del ecosistema, el sector p\u00fablico tiene que entrar con mayor fuerza, pues probablemente lo har\u00e1\u201d, finaliza Esteban Molina, gerente de Globant
